Graduate Teaching Assistant September 2026 until July 2027 £83 - £102 per day ''Outstanding'' primary school, Wolverhampton Classroom support in either EYFS, KS1 or KS2The Role:You will support teaching and learning across one phase, EYFS, KS1, or KS2, depending on where the school needs you most. You will work alongside the class teacher to keep pupils learning well, staying on task, and meeting expected standards. In the classroom, you will scaffold learning through modelling, chunking instructions, guided practice, and quick checks for understanding. You will support pupils who need extra help to access the lesson, including those with SEND, lower prior attainment, or gaps in core skills. You will also run short 1:1 and small group sessions when needed, keeping them linked to class objectives so progress is clear and trackable. If you are placed in EYFS, you will support early language, early phonics foundations, fine motor development, and learning behaviours through structured routines and purposeful play, aligned to the EYFS statutory framework. If you are placed in KS1 or KS2, you will support reading, writing, and maths in line with national curriculum expectations, helping pupils practise key skills with high repetition and clear feedback.
