Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer or Project Engineer looking to take technical ownership of bespoke projects from initial concept through to manufacture and installation?

On offer is an autonomous and varied position where you will work on highly specialist projects with opportunities for international travel and long-term career progression.

This expanding company are specialists within their field and have recently moved into a larger manufacturing facility due to continued growth. They work on technically challenging, bespoke projects across the UK and internationally and are now looking to strengthen their Design and Project Engineering team.

In this role, you will design bespoke mechanical solutions, produce technical drawings and work closely with customers, Production, suppliers and Project Managers. You will have ownership of your own projects whilst also travelling to customer sites to conduct surveys, oversee installations and attend project meetings.

This role would suit a Design Engineer with experience using Inventor, SolidWorks or similar, looking for greater project ownership and the opportunity to work on specialist engineering projects from design through to installation.

The Role:

• Design bespoke products and solutions from initial customer requirements through to manufacture and installation
• Produce 3D designs / technical drawings and work closely with Production, suppliers and Project Managers
• Monday to Friday

The Candidate:

• Mechanical / Project Design Engineering experience
• Experience with Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar
• Commutable to Saffron Walden
