Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Company

We’re recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturing business that is part of a larger group, with multiple sites across the UK. This particular site is smaller, offering a stable and close-knit working environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive repairs
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults
• Support monthly shutdowns and planned maintenance activities
• Deliver project work, including machine modifications, installs and improvements

This role is a multi - skilled working on production machinery, pneumatics, and general electrical components. PLCs are used on site, with external support available.

What You Need

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering
• Experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role
• Strong fault-finding skills (electrical and mechanical)
• Ability to work autonomously
• Background in manufacturing or similar  
• Reliable, hands-on approach
