Head of Financial Planning, Corporate Reporting and Projects
Moorfields NHS Trust are seeking an experienced NHS finance professional to join their team at City Road. The aim of the Head of Financial Planning, Corporate Reporting and Projects is to be responsible for leading the monthly reporting process for the Trust delivering clear reports on the financial position to Trust Board, internal and external stakeholders. The post holder will also be responsible for preparing the Trust financial plan and the production of the Trusts annual budgets, understanding the underlying financial position, the development of medium-and long-term financial models and be the finance governance lead for the Trusts efficiencies programme. In addition, the role will be a central point for leading project initiatives impacting on financial reporting, management and control within the Trust. Essential Criteria: The post holder must be a qualified member of a CCAB body (ACCA, CIPFA or CIMA) and be actively undertaking Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Experience of supporting budget holders at a senior level. Experience of driving change in a large and complex environment. Experience of Management Accounting. Experience of producing and presenting financial results. Experience of financial forecasting and budget setting. Experience and expertise in of leading a team of finance staff, using strategic and staff leadership to maximise its contribution to the organisation. Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
