Sewing MachinistLocation - Southend-on-SeaSalary - up to 31,000 depending on level of experienceA world leader in aerospace component manufacturing are currently searching for a Sewing Machinist to work within the machine shop overlocking and sewing cut parts into finished covers. Candidates should have previous experience of industrial sewing. Duties: Using drawings, templates, work instructions and/or samples to sew precut partsCarry out any reworks requiredOverlock cut parts as per instructions/training.Keep the sewing machine/overlocker in a clean and regularly oiled condition and report any faults to the Team LeaderWork within guidelines/instructions to ensure traceability is maintainedCarry out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant, when required.
