The ideal candidate will have proven experience in programming and setting CNC machine tools, including 3 5 axis capability.Applications Engineer£40,000 - £45,000 + Enhanced Pension + HealthcareCoventry, West MidlandsRef: 25102Applications Engineer - The Role: Be able to understand and write CNC programs, mainly Siemens 840.Grinding / Machining components to drawing.Machine programming and setup for Grinding of sample customer parts.Development of processes to optimise machine cycles.Installation of NC standard machine cycles and operational data.Full functional testing of machines made in-house, to internal test procedures.Prepare machine and associated equipment for PDI and installation at customers works.Carry out full machine installation, test and customer training at customers works, globally.Provide customer with after sales technical support.Assist with product improvements / development.
