We are recruiting for an experienced, part-time HR Generalist to join a busy HR team within an established manufacturing business. Working closely with the People and Culture Manager, you will provide practical HR advice and support to managers and employees throughout the employee lifecycle, helping to ensure policies, procedures and employment legislation are applied consistently. Job Description for the Part-time HR Generalist role: Providing day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees. Supporting employee relations matters, including disciplinary procedures, redundancy and the interpretation of HR policies and terms and conditions of employment. Promoting employee wellbeing, supporting flexible working arrangements and coordinating occupational health activities. Assisting with disciplinary meetings, taking minutes and maintaining accurate documentation. Reviewing return-to-work questionnaires and escalating welfare or health and safety concerns where appropriate. Maintaining confidential employee records and ensuring HR documentation is accurate and up to date. Producing, monitoring and reviewing HR key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and opportunities for improvement. Ensuring relevant intranet and non-commercial website content remains accurate and current. Keeping up to date with employment legislation, HR best practice and internal policies.
