Senior Occupational Therapist

Location: 869 Forest Road, Walthamstow, E17 4UH
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 3+ Months
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week
Pay Rate: £ 27.74 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance and support in moving and handling practices.
• Collaborate with social services teams to deliver comprehensive care plans.
• Conduct assessments in clients' homes to enhance their independence and quality of life.
• Develop and implement personalized therapy programs based on individual needs.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress and interventions.

Person Specification

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in occupational therapy.
• Proven experience working with social services teams.
• Strong background in home-based assessments and interventions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuing professional development and staying updated with the latest practices.
