A specialist school in Chippenham is seeking a caring and proactive Pastoral Support Worker to join its wider support team. You will work with children aged 5-16, including children with Autism, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, emotional regulation difficulties and additional learning needs. As a Pastoral Support Worker, you will focus on the individual child rather than simply responding to behaviour. You will build strong relationships, understand the challenges children may be experiencing and provide practical encouragement to help them feel more secure, confident and ready to engage with school. The Role The Pastoral Support Worker will provide targeted support across the school day, helping children manage emotional, social and behavioural challenges both inside and outside the classroom.
