Overview

Lead Information Security Engineer / Senior Information Security Officer. This is a newly created and green-field position, brand new and not to be missed. You will be the first hire in our new InfoSec Team and will initially be hands-on, covering live incidents and working across the business to identify where potential threats may arise. You will help implement a new Information Security Framework and advise on the strategic direction of security policies and procedures. The role is based in London with a hybrid work arrangement.Salary is circa £70,000 - £80,000 (max) plus bonus and exceptional bens. 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.This is an ideal opportunity to secure a position as an Information Security Manager, to lead the way and build out your own team from the ground up for a very prestigious financial firm.Responsibilities

Be the first hire in the new Information Security Team and lead by example.Work hands-on on live security incidents and understand where potential threats may arise across the business.Help implement a new Information Security Framework.Advise on the strategic direction of security policies and procedures.Engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and operate at the highest level within IT/Technical departments.Challenge the status quo and introduce a modern and innovative Information Security Framework.Contribute to security strategy within a Financial Services Regulated business domain.Qualifications

Recent experience in a Financial Services Regulated business domain (e.g., Banking, Insurance, Pensions, Investments, Trading/Broking or similar).Hold at least 2 of the following: CISSP, CISM, ISO27001, NIST, SIEM Certifications or any Cyber Security Certifications or Cloud/Azure Security Certifications.Job Details
