A specialist project management consultancy in Bristol is looking for a Project Manager with healthcare experience to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to work on complex healthcare schemes while developing their career within a consultancy with a strong public sector project portfolio.

The Project Manager will manage healthcare projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders. This Project Manager role would suit a confident Project Manager who understands the challenges of healthcare construction and can effectively manage programme, risk, reporting, and multidisciplinary teams. The successful Project Manager will ideally have experience working on NHS, hospital, clinical, or similar healthcare projects.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Project Manager will lead healthcare projects across Bristol and the wider South West through both pre-contract and construction stages.

The Project Manager will be responsible for programme management, procurement, consultant coordination, contract administration, risk management, change control, project reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

The Project Manager will chair project meetings, monitor contractor performance, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and maintain strong relationships with clients. Where projects are delivered within live healthcare environments, the Project Manager will carefully manage phasing, access, disruption, programme, and communication with operational stakeholders.

The successful Project Manager will have:

• Prior experience working within a construction consultancy
• Healthcare project experience
• Experience working on NHS, hospital, clinical, or similar healthcare schemes
• Experience managing projects through pre-contract and construction stages
• A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a related discipline
• MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or progress towards a relevant professional qualification
• Good knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams
• A proactive, organised, and commercially aware approach
