Our client is a Learning Disability Respite Centre based in Henley-on-Thames, dedicated to supporting young people (aged ) with learning disabilities. (They may also have physical disabilities and/or complex medical needs.) They offer day care and short breaks, enabling their clients to spend time with friends, learn new skills and enjoy new opportunities all whilst their families enjoy a much-needed break. Vitally, they provide invaluable continuity of support and care between teen and adult years as the young people transition from childrens to adults social care. Their Support Workers empower young people with disabilities to live life to the full. They give them the opportunity to have experiences and opportunities that they might otherwise never have. They are caring, compassionate, fun, dedicated, passionate and flexible.
