This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your talent and creativity in a professional, fast-paced environment that values craft, consistency, and collaboration.Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of the pastry section, ensuring consistency, precision, and high standards in every dishPrepare and present a range of desserts, baked goods, and sweet components to specificationWork alongside the Head Pastry Chef and kitchen leadership to develop seasonal offerings and plated dessertsMaintain mise en place and ensure readiness for service at all timesUphold strict food hygiene and safety standards across all pastry operationsSupport junior pastry staff with training, mentoring, and guidanceCommunicate effectively with front-of-house and wider kitchen team to ensure smooth serviceWhat We’re Looking ForPrevious experience as a Pastry CDP or strong Demi Chef de Partie within a quality-focused kitchenPassion for pastry and a creative, detail-driven approach to your craftExcellent knowledge of baking, patisserie, and dessert presentation techniquesStrong work ethic, professionalism, and a genuine love for hospitalityGood understanding of food safety, allergen management, and cleanliness protocolsAbility to stay calm and focused under pressure in a high-volume environmentFlexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekendsRight to work in the UKWhat''s in it for you?Working with Company Of Cooks has its perks!
