Academics are currently looking for experienced EYFS Teaching Assistants for day-to-day and short/long term opportunities within our partnership nurseries and primary schools. Working across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire can be diversified, meaning that we work with an assortment of primary schools and that we do have different requirements to suit.We are proud to say that here at Academics we have had a strong record of placing many of our Teaching Assistants into permanent work following a successful period of long term supply within our nurseries and primary schools.Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant: Work alongside teachers and fellow practitioners to deliver fun EYFS appropriate sessions and activities.Managing challenging behaviour and engaging learners with their own learning. To encourage independence, positive behaviour, and social interaction.Working with learners either 1-2-1 or in small groups.
