Your new roleAs an Audit Assistant Manager, you will take a leading role in delivering audit assignments from planning through to completion. You will manage on-site teams, liaise directly with clients, and support the development of junior staff. Your responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing audit files, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and identifying areas of risk. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to advisory projects and work closely with senior colleagues on strategic client matters.

What you''ll need to succeedYou will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with solid experience in audit within a UK accountancy practice. Strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple assignments are essential. A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in mentoring others will help you thrive in this role. Familiarity with cloud-based audit software and a sound understanding of current UK accounting and auditing standards are also important.
