NERS-accredited organisation that specialises in HV design, installation and maintenance work up to 132kV requires an HV Design Engineer to join its team on a permanent basis. The role: Produce electrical high voltage designs for a range of infrastructure and connection projects up to 132kV Act as the technical authority for these HV projects Liaise with project team and external stakeholders Ensure designs comply with regulations, industry standards and client requirements The person: Experienced HV Design Engineer with a track record of producing designs at 33kV - 132kV for contestable connections, power distribution / DNO projects or private networks Strong understanding of the UK ICP, DNO and IDNO industry Degree, HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Knowledge of CDM Regulations Experience in control and protection design and switchgear specification (desirable) This opportunity is ideal for an HV Design Engineer with strong 33kV / 132kV experience who wants to further their career with a highly respected organisation.
