This is a brand-new position created due to growth, offering the opportunity to lead an engineering team, improve delivery processes and help shape the future of the organisation''s technology function. The Role Lead, develop and manage a team of software engineers. Improve engineering processes, delivery performance and software quality. Support the adoption of AI-assisted development tools and new ways of working. Work with technical leads on engineering strategy and platform modernisation. Oversee project delivery, resource planning and team performance. Work closely with product teams and senior stakeholders to align technical priorities with business needs. Promote strong engineering standards, testing practices and reliable software delivery. Required Experience Proven experience managing and developing software engineering teams. A strong software engineering background, with the ability to understand code and challenge technical decisions. Experience improving team performance, delivery and engineering processes. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience with Java, Oracle or large-scale web platforms would be beneficial.
