Contract opportunity for an experienced technical project manager who has experience of working in the defence sector. This is likely to run on for 9 to 12 months and will be reviewed every 3 months. You''re being brought in to project manage a large new defence project and help the business get this project off the ground. This is a new customer for my client who have a strict deadline this project needs to be delivered on, with this in mind you need to be able to hit the ground running and start at short notice. Testing and validation of the product will be a big part of getting this project off the ground, if you have knowledge in the testing of products and liaising with test facilities this would be hugely beneficial. We need someone who is self sufficient and can be relied to work independently but also engage with engineering teams to ensure the project is running on time and within budget. Will need extensive experience in running a project from start through to completion. They are happy to consider someone looking for a part time role (3 days a week) or full time is this option is preferred. The role would be based in Milton Keynes but home working allowed, looking at a 50/50 split on in the office and at home.Its crucial you have experience of managing defence projects, will also have an involvement with an aerospace project as well but the defence side is more important. To have some experience of working within engineering/manufacturing who be beneficial, don''t
