PK Education are currently recruiting for a passionate and driven Employer Engagement Tutor to work within a SEN setting in Newcastle. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by helping young people develop the skills and confidence they need to transition into the world of work.

As an Employer Engagement Tutor, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between education and employment. You will work closely with students, staff, and local employers to create meaningful career-related opportunities and experiences.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local employers and industry partners
• Organise and coordinate work placements, internships, and employer-led activities
• Support students in developing employability skills, including CV writing and interview preparation
• Deliver engaging sessions that connect learning to real-world career pathways
• Collaborate with school staff to embed careers education across the curriculum
• Track, monitor, and evaluate student progress within work-related learning programmes

• Passionate about supporting young people into employment
• Excellent communication and networking skills
• Experience in employer engagement, education, or careers guidance (desirable)
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to student wellbeing

• Competitive daily rate of £120 – £150
• Full-time, ongoing position
