SEN Teaching Assistant - Full TimeBradfordStart: After February Half TermVeritas Education Veritas Education is working in partnership with a secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team after February half term. We are looking for someone who is patient, proactive and confident supporting students with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, ASD, learning difficulties, and behaviour needs. You will work closely with the SENCO and classroom teachers to provide targeted support, both 1:1 and in small groups, helping students access learning and make progress. Key Responsibilities: Supporting students with SEND across KS3 and KS4Providing 1:1 and small group interventionsAssisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and behaviour managementHelping to create a positive and inclusive learning environmentWorking collaboratively with the SENCO and wider pastoral team Requirements: Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school or transferable settings)Strong communication and behaviour management skillsEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)A genuine passion for supporting young people As well as this role, we have various other full-time, part-time and ad-hoc supply opportunities across Bradford and West Yorkshire.
