Your new role We''re looking for a proactive Records Information Officer to lead a review of our information governance and records management processes. Acting as a central coordination point, you''ll ensure our data is accurate, secure, and compliant throughout the review period.Your responsibilities will include:Auditing and rationalising information assets across the organisation.Reviewing and updating the Information Asset Register (IAR).Confirming data classification levels and identifying high-risk or sensitive assets.Checking retention and disposal compliance and ensuring destruction processes meet GDPR standards.Producing clear reports on compliance status, risks, and recommendations for improvement.What you''ll need to succeed Strong knowledge of records management principles, GDPR, and FOI.Experience with MS Purview and information governance frameworks.Excellent organisational and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).What you''ll get in return Hybrid working (80% remote, 20% office-based).Minimum 15 + hourly rate26 days annual leave plus bank holidaysPension scheme Flexible working arrangements.Professional development opportunities.Wel
