Our client, a leading multidisciplinary consultancy, is looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their established Building Services team in Oxford. Working within a collaborative and highly respected engineering team, you will be trusted to lead projects from initial concept through to completion, providing technical expertise, commercial awareness, and leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

What You''ll Be Doing

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will take responsibility for the design and delivery of electrical building services solutions across a diverse range of projects.

Your role will include:

• Leading electrical design from feasibility and concept stages through to detailed design and construction.
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Managing project programmes, budgets, and technical delivery to ensure successful outcomes.
• Producing and reviewing technical specifications, calculations, reports, and design documentation.
• Overseeing tender reviews and providing technical recommendations.
• Conducting site visits, inspections, and project monitoring throughout construction phases.
• Supporting and mentoring junior engineers, helping to develop both technical capability and professional growth.
• Contributing to resource planning and team development.
• Identifying opportunities to strengthen client relationships and support future business growth.

What We''re Looking For

The successful candidate will be an accomplished Building Services Electrical Engineer with a strong technical background and a passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

You''ll ideally have:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status, or be working towards chartership.
• Membership of CIBSE, IET, or a comparable professional body.
• Proven experience delivering electrical building services projects within a consultancy environment.
• Previous experience leading projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, CIBSE guidance, industry standards, and sustainability requirements.
• Experience using industry-standard software including AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design packages.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage directly with clients and stakeholders.
