We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our client''s leading manufacturing  site in Nottinghamshire.
 
Operating within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this is an excellent opportunity to join a global business.
 
As a Maintenance Engineer you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance and efficiency of plant and equipment across the site.  From carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns and undertaking mechanical repairs across a range of machinery.
 
Key Responsibilities of a Maintenance Engineer

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of machinery on site such as presses, body makers and ovens.
• Work closely with the production teams to minimise downtime
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety procedures

Experience and Qualification required for a Maintenance Engineer

• Level 3 Mechanical qualification or equivalent
• Electrical qualification would be an advantage but not essential
• Mechanical background with some electrical work
• Experience in heavy industry or manufacturing environments
• Proactive, flexible and a strong team player

Salary and Benefits of a Maintenance Engineer

• 3 shift pattern (Mornings, Afternoons, Nights)
• 8 hour shifts
• Salary up to £45,000
