The Civil Works Alliance (CWA) are recruiting for a Preconstruction Manager to join our Sizewell C team, based at the SZC Project Office or London. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead preconstruction activities for the Marine and Tunnels scope, a critical part of the Civil Works Programme supporting one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects.Responsibilities

Define and deliver the preconstruction work scope and coordinate interfaces with other project elementsDevelop and execute effective preconstruction strategies aligned with the overall Programme Execution PlanManage and monitor progress against milestones, budgets, and safety targetsEngage stakeholders and maintain clear communications across teamsIdentify and resolve risks and issues early, driving continuous improvementSupport the Target Outturn Cost process and prepare readiness materials for construction teamsQualifications

Proven experience managing complex civil engineering projects, ideally within the nuclear or similarly regulated sectorStrong project and commercial management skills, with expertise in contract administration and risk controlExcellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and facilitation abilitiesThe ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines during preconstruction phasesA collaborative approach with a keen eye for detail and continuous learningAbout Sizewell C
