YT Technologies are pleased to announce after our recent partnership with Domin, that they are looking to hire an Assembly Operator with a mechanical background to join their ever growing Manufacturing team.
At Domin they use advanced technology to produce world class hydraulic valves using components sourced from around the world and delivering to customers internationally.
This role will involve assembly of the hydraulic valves and other products on the assembly line, but also may include running their hydraulic test and measurement equipment. This includes following assembly drawings, digital work instructions, required to use a variety of hand and bench tools, and performing bill of materials checks to ensure assemblies meet the standards.
Working alongside the rest of the production team, you will have the opportunity to learn about Domins products and the processes they use to manufacture the components.
This role will be during the day shift which runs Mon-Thu 07:30-16:00 and Fri 07:30-13:30. There may also be opportunities for overtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble hydraulic valves and related products following assembly drawings, digital work instructions, and bill of materials to ensure build accuracy and quality.
- Use a variety of hand and bench tools to complete mechanical assemblies, including torquing fasteners, applying adhesives or sealants, and fitting small precision components.
- Operate hydraulic test and measurement equipment to verify product performance and assist in final product validation.
- Accurately document work completed and follow digital workflows to ensure traceability and compliance with production processes.
- Collaborate with the wider production team to identify improvements, maintain a clean and organised work area to 5S and health and safety standards.
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver world leading products.

- 2 or more years of experience operating carrying out assembly of mechanical products
- Measuring and recording quality control features
- Adhering to Health and Safety Policies
- Great computer literacy
- Able to use and demonstrate the use of gauges and measurement equipment
- Experience operating hydraulic test equipment
- Has completed an apprenticeship
- Has 5S and lean six sigma understanding
- Experience operating inspection equipment
- Experience using MRP or ERP
