Sales Executive
£36,000 basic + quarterly bonus | LS28 | B2B Engineering
We are recruiting for a Sales Executive to join an established engineering components manufacturer based in LS28, supplying industrial products to customers across the UK and internationally.
 
The business has recently been acquired by a large international group and is now entering a period of investment and expansion. As a result, they are growing their sales team and are looking for a Sales Executive who can help develop existing relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
 
The Sales Executive Role
This is a varied B2B Sales Executive position, combining account management with new business development. Around 60% of the role will focus on warm, lapsed and existing customers, giving you the opportunity to build on established relationships as well as develop new accounts.
You will be responsible for:

• Generating new business through proactive outbound sales
• Re-engaging warm, lapsed and existing customers
• Managing the sales process from initial contact through to order
• Building relationships with customers across engineering and manufacturing
• Developing and maintaining a strong sales pipeline
• Using CRM systems to manage customer activity and opportunities
• Negotiating effectively to support revenue and margin growth
• Promoting a range of technical and engineered products
• Identifying opportunities to grow existing customer accounts

The role is primarily office based, with occasional customer visits.
What We''re Looking For
The successful Sales Executive will have:

• Previous B2B sales or business development experience
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence dealing with decision-makers
• Good commercial awareness
• Strong organisation and follow-up skills
• Experience using CRM systems and sales tools
• A proactive approach to developing business

Experience within engineering, manufacturing, industrial or technical sales would be beneficial but is not essential.
