Janco Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Wood Machinist / CNC Operator Programmer on behalf of their clients based in West Bromwich. The Wood Machinist / CNC Operator Programmer will work alongside an existing well established team to produce high quality products. Our client is looking for someone who is after a longterm career that is willing to grow, develop and maintain the company reputation and quality of products. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and the ability to interpret technical drawings. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:30pm and Fridays 8am - 3:30pm. The salary range for this role is between 30,000 pa to 37,500,experience dependent. Job role and duties; Reading from drawings to program, set and operate machinery Produce high quality products Work in line with company procedures and machine capability Conduct quality checks on finished products using basic maths for measurements. Troubleshoot issues with CNC machinery and implement solutions promptly. Maintain and improve productivity Work to company health and safety protocols and keep work area tidy at all times.
