The role includes completing specialist OT assessments as part of the Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment (EHCNA) process and providing clear, outcome-driven recommendations for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). You will work closely with schools, families, SEN teams, and other professionals to support accurate identification of needs and ensure high-quality, child-centred decision-making. Key Responsibilities Statutory and Clinical Assessment Complete paediatric functional and sensory assessments for children undergoing the EHCNA process.Provide timely, clear, and measurable OT advice for EHCPs, including recommendations for outcomes, provision, and environmental adjustments.Assess children''s daily living skills, fine/gross motor needs, sensory processing, handwriting, and functional participation in educational environments.
