Are you an experienced Commercial Electrician?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Commercial Electrician to join a well-established electrical contractor working on commercial projects across Leicester and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrician with commercial installation experience looking for ongoing work with potential long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

Essential:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• ECS/JIB Gold Card
• Previous commercial electrical experience
• Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)

Desirable:

• 2391 Testing & Inspection
• IPAF Certification
• PASMA Certification

Roles & Responsibilities

• Installing containment including tray, basket and conduit
• Carrying out first and second fix electrical installations
• Installing lighting, power and emergency lighting systems
• Testing and inspecting electrical installations when required
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
• Ensuring all work is completed to current regulations and site standards
• Maintaining a safe working environment at all times
• Working effectively as part of a site team to meet project deadlines

Requirements

As a Commercial Electrician, you will be expected to:

• Arrive on site punctually and maintain excellent attendance
• Complete work to a high standard with minimal supervision
• Follow all site-specific health and safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with site management and colleagues
• Maintain tools, equipment and PPE in good condition
