We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and inspirational Head of Maths to join an excellent, supportive and well-resourced department. This post is suitable for an experienced teacher wishing to lead a team and ensure a high standard of teaching, learning and achievement. You will be a reflective classroom practitioner with the ability to work effectively within a team environment and able to enthuse, inspire and motivate pupils.Responsibilities

Lead a Maths department, ensuring a high standard of teaching, learning and achievement across the age and ability range.Model and develop effective teaching practices and adopt a range of pedagogical approaches to contribute to the overall success of the staff and team.Work collaboratively within a team to create a positive, inclusive learning environment that raises student achievement and life chances.Demonstrate mental toughness, embrace challenges and drive continuous improvement.Qualifications and Attributes

Exceptional practitioner with strong subject knowledge.Experience of raising achievement across the age and ability range.A well-qualified, industrious and talented team player who believes in lifelong learning and helps pupils develop the skills and attitudes they will need in their future lives.Experience as a leader with a track record of positive impact to date.Motivated by the belief that the life chances of all young people can be improved.Additional Information
