This is a Technology Delivery Lead role within the Data Services tribe of the Corporate Bank division. This position is working in the Data Exchange Efficiency and Control team who create, maintain, deliver, enterprise data models and standard data protocols (SDP) that underpins bank strategic data provisioning and regulatory data commitments. These SPDs adhere to the Banks vision of efficient bank wide usage of data, using consistent architecture and data standards to ensure reusable data transfer formats. The team works in close collaboration with Group Architecture and Chief Data Office functions.

Your key responsibilities

Managing the scope and schedule of the project with an Agile approach (establishing and modifying the project roadmap as required), while providing transparency through consistent reporting and communication for internal and external stakeholders

Project Status reporting ensuring effective project management and team alignment, while sharing progress, challenges, and achievements with all stakeholders

Maintain project integrity by identifying and addressing risks to ensure that the team can effectively manage uncertainties and adapt to changes

Foster unity, drive engagement and focus on values to ensure that team members and all stakeholders are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives

Identifying, championing, and delivering initiatives to improve the team’s delivery processes and methods

Your skills and experience

Working within and across teams in the organization you must possess effective communication skills, ensuring transparency and alignment among team members and stakeholders

Large enterprise level experience in information technology with an emphasis on technology project delivery. Strong technology background with corporate banking domain knowledge

An in-depth understanding of Agile Methodology and software development life cycle (SDLC) with the ability to exhibit strong leadership without being authoritative, empowering the team to self-organize and make decisions.

Strong awareness of data architecture, management and governance principles is a must.

Prior experience in leading a team skilled in data architecture modelling and big data technologies, Google cloud experience would be a plus

Technical ability to identify, scope, deliver and support continuous process improvement using the latest tools and GCP, ability to script in Python, Ruby, Java, etc.
