Hours: 44 per week

Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, alternating Saturdays (half days), 07:00 – 16:00 with a 30-minute unpaid break

Pay Rate: £12.26 per hour

Factory Cleaner Summary

Pin Point Recruitment is currently seeking a Factory Cleaner to join a fast-paced food production environment in Enfield. This is a vital role within the business, ensuring that hygiene and safety standards are consistently maintained to the highest level. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production areas, equipment and external spaces are kept clean, safe and compliant, supporting both food safety and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough deep cleans of production areas, including dismantling machinery and using approved cleaning chemicals.
• Performing routine daily cleaning of floors, equipment, workspaces and external areas of the site.
• Following strict hygiene protocols and ensuring all cleaning records and documentation are kept up to date.
• Maintaining compliance with food safety, quality and hygiene standards at all times.
• Supporting the wider Hygiene team to ensure all production deadlines are met without compromising hygiene levels.
• Identifying and reporting any hazards, damages or potential issues to the Technical Manager

Requirements

We are looking for someone who demonstrates reliability, attention to detail and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous cleaning experience within a food production, warehouse, chilled or fresh produce environment (desirable but not essential as training is provided).
• Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• A proactive and positive approach to work, with strong attention to detail.
• Teamwork skills, with the ability to also work independently when required.
• Flexibility to work additional hours or shifts when needed.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities in a busy environment.
