I am actively recruiting a Children''s Home Registered Manager on behalf of my client based in Highbridge ( Somerset) to manage and lead their 3 bed children''s Home. My client were formed in 1999 and have established a good reputation in the residential adolescent childcare sector and pride themselves in having the insight and ability to care for young people as individuals in a holistic manner. This exciting opportunity will suit an experienced Registered Manager who has previously overseen a new service from scratch. Ideally you will have 2 years experience within the last 5 years relevant to the residential care of children. Main purpose of the role: As the Registered Manager you will manage a 3 bedded children''s home in a rural area and manage a staff team of 9 to ensure high quality of care is delivered to young people providing a positive and enriching living experience. Duties include, but not limited to: To develop and deliver high quality care in accordance with legislation. Adhere to all legislative guidelines in respect of Health and Safety. To ensure the up keeping of all records relating to the young people. To ensure the provision of management information. To develop and promote new techniques as appropriate.
