Programmes Lead - Primary Care Estates and Capital Band 8b Six-month fixed-term contract Full time London Hybrid working MLC Partners is working with an NHS organisation in London to recruit an experienced Programmes Lead to oversee a varied portfolio of primary care estates and capital schemes. This is an opportunity to help turn investment plans into improvements to healthcare premises. Working closely with senior estates colleagues and external project managers, you will help schemes progress through planning, funding and approval processes, bringing partners together and resolving issues along the way. The role You will provide programme oversight across schemes at different stages of development, ensuring clear priorities, robust governance and effective coordination. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing programme delivery, tracking progress, risks, dependencies and budgets. Coordinating external project managers and specialist advisers. Supporting business cases, capital funding and NHS approval processes. Working with GPs, councils, landlords and NHS partners to progress schemes, including those involving complex lease arrangements. Reviewing programme governance and providing clear reporting and assurance to senior stakeholders. About you Direct experience of primary care estates or capital programmes is essential.
