We are working with an award winning Education provider in the area of Bridgwater, Somerset. They are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to add to their team. The role is term time only over 39 weeks.Main DutiesLead small group and individual interventions to support the development of learning, social, and emotional skills.Contribute to planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons.Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to adapt lesson plans and materials to meet students'' needs.Provide positive reinforcement and behavior support strategies.Contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).Take responsibility for the preparation and organisation of lesson resources as required.Person SpecExperience working with pupils on the Autistic spectrum is desirableProven experience of working with children in an educational settingExperience working with young people with special education needs or additional learning difficulties would be advantageousLevel 3 in supporting teaching and learning in schools is an advantageHigher level Teaching Assistant (TA4 / HLTA) is desirableThe position is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure.Refresh Recruitment does not presently hold a Sponsorship License and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a LicenseSalary: £26-30K per annum DOEHours: 37.5 hours Term Time only - 39 weeks per yearLocation: Bridgwater, SomersetOur aim is to contact all successful applicati
