This role will provide operational leadership to a team responsible for ensuring all incoming materials meet quality standards, specifications and engineering requirements before being released for production.Working within a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in maintaining material availability, managing quality issues and supporting production requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support a team of goods inward inspectors within the warehouse operation.Ensure incoming materials are inspected against quality standards, specifications and engineering drawings.Manage material release and quarantine processes to support production requirements.Investigate and resolve material quality concerns and non-conformances.Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality and availability issues.Produce KPI reports and analyse performance data to drive improvements.Ensure accurate system management of materials and inventory status.Support calibration and management of inspection and testing equipment.Drive continuous improvement and promote a strong safety culture across the team.
