Our client is seeking a Mission Planning and Control Systems Engineer to join a dynamic Defence and Security team delivering mission planning products for domestic and international customers. This permanent role will support a range of missile mission sets, including one-way effectors, tactical strike weapons and deep-strike weapon systems, while working closely with international teams, industry partners and the Ministry of Defence.Key Responsibilities:Supporting mission planning products throughout the complete systems engineering lifecycleContributing to requirements definition, capture, management and flow-down activitiesDeveloping control systems solutions and supporting design generation, verification and certificationWorking with international engineering teams and subject matter experts to understand system principlesAuthoring technical documentation for internal stakeholders and end usersParticipating in technical problem-solving and analytical investigationsCollaborating with external partners and stakeholders across multiple locationsSupporting proving activities and the delivery of robust mission planning capabilitiesJob Requirements:Understanding of systems engineering processes, with experience in a systems engineering roleExperience using requirements capture and control tools, such as DOORSKnowledge of configuration management and requirements management principlesUnderstanding of control systems and systems engineering practicesGeneral understanding of ..... full job details .....
