Company welfare programme Job Role: Responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and stock management.Manage kitchen budgets, including food cost control, supplier negotiations, and waste reduction strategies.Lead, train, and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure consistent quality and efficient service.Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with food safety regulations and health inspections.Monitor portion control and presentation to maintain brand standards and customer satisfaction.Be initiative to suggest ways to improve food sales and performance within the pub. Increasing the number of daily covers What our client is looking for in the successful Head Chef: Previous experience working as a head chef - ESSENTIAL Experience of running a busy kitchen - ESSENTIALFood Hygiene Certificate - ESSENTIALFormal culinary qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent) - DESIRABLEStrong communication skillsAbility to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced kitchen.Team player
