Are you a compassionate and experienced professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Team Leader to join our client’s children’s residential home. You will play a crucial role in supporting children and young people aged 6 to 17 who have experienced early life trauma, neglect, or abuse and may exhibit challenging behaviours.Key Responsibilities:Plan and oversee shifts with Residential Support WorkersManage risks in accordance with company policies and proceduresCommunicate daily plans effectively with your teamProvide detailed reports and documentation using our paperless systemsReview and update care plans and associated documentation regularlyOffer positive parenting and exceptional communicationStay informed on current legislation, such as the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015Qualifications Required:
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child CareOR Level 3 Children and Young People Workforce DiplomaOR Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner (Residential Pathway)About You:
You are an empathetic, open-minded professional with:At least 1 year of relevant experience in children''s or young adults’ residential care within the last 5 yearsA full manual driving licenceA passion for supporting children and young people and a commitment to their developmentWillingness to engage in ongoing professional developmentAbout the Company:
