Our client is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer to support the growth and delivery of its rail engineering business in Basingstoke. This permanent role combines electrical engineering leadership, technical governance, client relationship management, business development, project delivery and team development across complex multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.Key Responsibilities:Lead and oversee electrical engineering design activities, including designs, specifications, calculations, reports and technical documentationReview and approve technical outputs, carrying out design reviews, quality audits and assurance activitiesAct as an Electrical Team Leader and provide technical guidance across rail and wider infrastructure projectsManage multiple projects, monitoring programme, budget, risks, resources, change control and overall project performanceDevelop strong relationships with clients across rail, highways, local authorities, energy, water, development and construction sectorsPrepare and support bids, tenders, fee proposals, project forecasts and business reportsLead, mentor and develop engineers, senior engineers and graduates while promoting a collaborative and high-performing team cultureRail Engineering and Assurance:Support Network Rail and Train Operating Company project assurance requirementsWork towards or maintain approvals for roles such as Contractor''s Responsible Engineer and Contractor''s Engineering ManagerAttend site visits and inspections, ..... full job details .....
