opportunity, offering the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young learners. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual, with a strong commitment to creating engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environments.

Key Responsibilities Of An Early Years Practitioner

Teaching and Learning:Assist in delivering the EYFS curriculum, helping to plan and carry out learning activitiesCreate a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where all children feel valued and supported to achieve their potential.Use a range of teaching strategies, including practical activities, to promote active learning.Foster confidence, independence, and social skills in pupils.

Classroom Management :

Establish clear and consistent rules for key worker children promote a positive learning environment.Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a productive, respectful, and safe classroom atmosphere.Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional development alongside their academic progress.

Collaboration and Teamwork :

Participate in nursery meetings, training, and collaborative planning sessions.Maintain open lines of communication with parents and carers to keep them informed about student progress and school events.

Personal Development :

Continue to develop professionally by attending training sessions and workshops relevant to your practice.Stay up to date with the latest educational trends, strategies, and practices to ensure that teaching methods remain innovative and effective.

Personal Specification

Qualifications:A recognised Level 2 or 3 Early Years Qualification is essential.

Experience :

Experience teaching in EYFSKnowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum.Experience working with children with a range of learning needs, including SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).

Skills and Attributes :

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.Creativity and resourcefulness in assisting with learning activities and supporting children development

Personal Qualities :

A patient and nurturing attitude to support children''s emotional and social growthA proactive and self-motivated individual who takes initiative and can work both independently and as part of a team.Enthusiastic, positive, and dedicated to ensuring that every child has the best educational experience possible.
