As part of its continued development, the business is seeking an experienced Resource Planning Manager to improve workforce planning, scheduling and operational efficiency.The RoleReporting to the Head of Operations, you will take central ownership of resource planning and scheduling across a field-based technical workforce. You will be responsible for improving technician utilisation, capacity planning and forward visibility, ensuring resources are deployed efficiently and commercially across multiple service lines. Key responsibilities will include: Managing workforce scheduling and resource allocationMaintaining forward capacity and demand forecastsMonitoring utilisation, downtime, travel and overtimeProducing operational performance reports and analysisCoordinating resources for major works and customer shutdownsImproving planning processes, systems and ways of working The PersonYou will have experience in resource planning, workforce scheduling or operational coordination within a field-based service environment, together with strong planning, organisational and analytical skills.
