The Role

HP4 Recruitment are working with a data centre project looking for an Electrical AP to be a key presence on site, supporting both construction and operations teams.

This isn’t a desk-only role — they need someone who can float around site, keep things organised, and make sure everything is being done safely and correctly.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Acting as Electrical AP across HV/LV systems
• Being out on site, coordinating between construction and ops
• Managing permits, isolations, and switching activities
• Producing and reviewing switching plans and paperwork
• Supporting commissioning and testing (IST)
• Making sure teams are working safely and following process
• Being the go-to person on site for anything electrical

What They’re Looking For

• Experience as an Electrical AP (or similar level)
• Good understanding of HV/LV systems and switching
• Experience in a data centre or critical environment
• Confident with permits, paperwork, and documentation
• Ideally some construction project experience
• Someone happy to be on-site, visible, and hands-on
