Up to £90,000 plus EXCELLENT bonus and benefitsHybrid working available (50% office based)Due to exciting business growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join the Finance and Control team at a highly prestigious private bank, based in the heart of London. This role offers the chance to work on complex financial instruments and treasury portfolios, playing a key part in delivering accurate statutory reporting and supporting critical finance processes within a dynamic banking environment.Duties of the Financial Accountant to include:Prepare and maintain accurate statutory accounts and financial statements in line with accounting standards (FRS 102).Lead year-end processes, including audit preparation and acting as a key liaison with external auditors.Manage accounting for financial instruments, including bonds and derivatives, ensuring compliance with technical standards.Support Treasury on two main portfolios and contribute to financial control and product control activities.Maintain and enhance ledger systems, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency.Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and control processes.Use data tools to support analysis and reporting (SQL experience highly desirable).Requirements for the successful Financial Accountant to include:Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 6-8 years'' experience.Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial instruments.
