Business Development Manager

We are actively seeking a Business Development Manager for our St Albans Based client. Must be able to attend the office 3 days per week.

Day to day duties include identifying and establishing communication with new clients, developing relationships.

Providing detailed and accurate briefs to the onboarding and buying team to assist in developing product ranges from design stage, through the manufacturing process, to ensuring timely communication with internal departments for smooth integration. Produce supporting onboarding documentation, working with the Marketing team as and when required. Maintain an excellent communication channel throughout the initial period, before handing over a successfully integrated account to the relevant account manager. To analyse and report on performance and suggest any improvements with new partners to ensure successful partnerships are grown. Offer new and forward-thinking ideas, identify and suggest market trends & to develop upon these ideas to generate sales. Attend conferences and external events multiple times per year.

Strong organisational and analytical ability together with outstanding communication skills. Have a good awareness of garment compositions and manufacturing processes. Positive, confident attitude with a strong work ethic. Experience in contract negotiation. Proactive in establishing, building and maintaining a successful pipeline.

Holiday entitlement for full time employees is 24 days, plus bank holidays. After 1 year''s continuous service, from 1 April, holiday entitlement will increase to 26 days, plus bank holidays. After 3 years'' continuous service, from 1 April, holiday entitlement will increase to 29 days, plus bank holidays.
