The Role: Impact and Responsibility You will be at the heart of the design and optimisation of advanced electronics for miniaturised cold atom systems. Systems Design: Collaborate with scientists to translate complex quantum requirements into high-performance electronic hardware. Circuit Development: Own the full lifecycle of low-noise analog and digital circuits, from initial concept to PCB layout and prototyping. Control Systems: Implement and refine data acquisition systems for experimental hardware. Hardware Optimisation: Debug and optimise complex electronic systems to ensure mission-critical reliability. Cross-Disciplinary Work: Integrate next-generation quantum devices with robust electronic control platforms. Essential; Education: BSc/MSc in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (PhD or Systems Engineering background is highly valued).
