Assistant / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

Salary: -35,000 - -60,000 DOE + Package

We are seeking an Assistant or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team delivering office and laboratory fit-out projects across Oxford.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with cost planning and procurement.
• Prepare subcontract packages and tender documentation.
• Manage valuations and variations.
• Support monthly cost reporting.
• Assist with final accounts.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Contracts Managers.
• Monitor project costs and identify commercial risks.
• Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

Requirements

• Experience within construction or fit-out.
• Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying preferred.
• Experience on CAT A/CAT B fit-out projects desirable.
• Laboratory project experience beneficial.
• Strong numerical and commercial awareness.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
