Field Service Technician Altera Recruitment Group is supporting an innovative engineering business in the appointment of a Field Service Technician to support customers across the Midlands, South Wales and the South Coast. This position does not require someone with extensive mechanical/electrical experience, as full training will be provided to service and maintain the machines. If you have prior experience in a hands-on position and are able to drive a large van, you will be considered. The Field Service Technician will play an important role in keeping equipment operating reliably while providing a professional service and building strong relationships with customers. Key Responsibilities of the Field Service Technician Carry out planned servicing, routine maintenance, basic fault finding and minor repairs at customer sites. Complete service records, paperwork and job documentation accurately, reporting equipment faults and repair requirements promptly. Follow customer site rules, health and safety procedures and company working practices at all times. Provide a professional and courteous service while representing the business on customer premises. Support collections, deliveries, equipment preparation and other practical duties when required. Candidate Requirements Previous experience in field service, maintenance, engineering, facilities, manufacturing or another practical customer facing role would be beneficial.
