Learning Support Assistant – Further Education College Location: Loughton, Essex

Pay Rate: £120 - £150 (based on experience)

We are currently recruiting a dedicated and supportive Learning Support Assistant to join a college in Loughton, supporting young people with their learning, development and day-to-day access to education.

The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to provide 1:1 and small-group support to learners, helping them access lessons, develop confidence and become more independent.

You may support learners with:

• SEND and additional learning needs
• EHCPs and individual support plans
• Communication and learning difficulties
• Classroom engagement and participation
• Developing independence and life skills
• Positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

• Previous experience working as an LSA, Teaching Assistant or similar support role within a school or college
• Experience supporting learners with SEND/additional needs
• A caring, patient and encouraging approach
