Senior Support Worker
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our clients mental health team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, promoting independence, recovery, and wellbeing. As a senior member of the team, you will also take on leadership responsibilities, supporting junior staff and ensuring the delivery of safe and effective care. Key Responsibilities Provide practical and emotional support to service users with a range of mental health needs Develop and implement person-centred support plans Lead shifts and coordinate day-to-day service delivery Support, mentor, and supervise junior support workers Administer medication in line with policies and procedures Maintain accurate records and reports Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies Promote safeguarding, dignity, and respect at all times About You Previous experience in a mental health support role (essential) Experience in a senior or supervisory role (desirable) NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards) Strong understanding of mental health conditions and recovery approaches Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations A commitment to person-centred care and inclusion What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Ongoing training and professional develop
